One of the hallmarks of Congregation Etz Chayim’s success is the synagogue’s commitment to offering dynamic youth programming on Shabbat morning.

Under the guidance of dynamic teen leaders, our Junior Congregation groups explore Jewish themes and values in a friendly, inclusive, fun environment.

This is a wonderful treat for your children to capture the magic of Shabbat in a child friendly environment. Every week the children and youth will experience the joy of Shabbat through zemirot (songs), prayer and discussion.

There are 3 separate groups;  Shemesh (ages 2-5); Yareiach (ages 6-10); and Koach (ages 11 & 12).  As the service in the main sanctuary ends, all Junior Congregants lead the entire congregation in closing prayers.
