About the Event

The Mishnah indicates that it is incumbent on each person gathered at a seder to recite these words: B'chol dor vador chayav adam li’rot et atzmo k'ilu hu hatza mimitzrayim. "In all generations it is the duty of (Hu)man to consider himself/herself as if she/he/they had come forth from Egypt."

Mitzrayim literally means the “narrow places”. Ordinarily the task of every Jew at Passover is to see oneself as if he/she has left the narrowness of our own lives spiritually and emotionally.

But how does one realize the potential for freedom in a time where we are physically restricted & our world feels turned upside down due to a world-wide pandemic?...or is this moment in time a chance to reflect on what really makes us free?
